Sunday afternoon shop done, dusted & stored away.

The endless excitement of my life knows few bounds.

Still a lovely day out there.

I may go for Another Walk since it was so pleasant yesterday.

Cold cocktail sausages and a bag of plain crisps for lunch

I'm also trying to summon up the enthusiasm for doing some mapping stuff, but I'm not really in the mood. Maybe tomorrow

Well there was still some snow drifted in the hollows where sun hadn't got to it, and Pen y Fan was white on top from a distance, but otherwise all good

Got to the top of Epynt thinking bloody hell its getting a bit warm now, was about to take a couple of layers off then looked at the temperature on the Garmin. 6degC. Turns out I was working a bit harder than I thought!

Did some aimless potching about in the garden instead.

              Glad you enjoyed.

Tea/dinner this evening involved poached egg & tomato on toast.

Much to my delight the first egg I cracked disappeared down the plughole of the sink before I could get it to the receptacle that awaited it.

              I was not pleased.

It was BBE 25th Feb, so really really fresh.

Bought some brie this afternoon (Morrisons, reduced).

              It's all gone now.

This evening's epic is "Brazil (1984)" with Johnathan Pryce et al, al including Robert De Niro in a cameo.

              Brazil (1985) - IMDb

Now watching the Oak Island nutjobs.

The nutjobs have found a square depression in the woods.

There isn't a hatch underneath it.

And they've found a piece of book binding in addition to the two bits of bone.

And maybe it's Francis Drake buried in Hg.

Or maybe it's the Knights Templar again.

              Or something.

              Or Shakespeare.

"Brazil" is almost as crazy in its incomprehensible way.

That's on my to-watch list - I don't think I've ever seen the entire film, just caught parts of it on telly over the years.

For tea tonight, a delicious bowl of scouse out of the freezer (whence it was consigned on the eighth of February, apparently) along with a thick end-piece and additional thick slice of sesame seed bloomer

Good news! My BP is now down to “very high”.
The Wife (tm) who is one of the most qualified people in the country on the subject, and also one of the worst people to be ill in front of - she thought that Python’s “it’s just a flesh wound” was exaggerating - decided that she would take me to hospital if I couldn’t get my diastolic below 110.
                    It’s now under 100.

It's a fine line before they start telling you it's "too low"
