Morning.
Black verging on dark grey now.
Overcast with hints of dawn over Margam.
Colder. 13.9 in the living room. 2.4 in the laundry room with a min of 2.2.
Dry.
Apart from the bus stop which had been decorated with urine by some oik over the last 24 hours or so.
Very odd dream at 01:30ish where I woke up & was totally baffled as to where I was, appearing to still be where I was in the dream.
Took a few minutes to come out of it & had to switch the bog light on just to be sure. When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

I'm getting hungrier earlier and earlier recently. Normally lunch at 1ish to make for a short afternoon, but I'm bloody starvin'!Comment

You're right though, crisps would have been a better shout.Comment

Afternoon all
In a shock turn of events, I'm off the bench and in Manchester.
I spent a whole one day on the bench before someone in the chain cracked and agreed to my terms - so here I am. Signed a one month extension for now to see how things go (with a rate increase to sweeten the deal).
Head down, carrying on invoicing.Comment

Just found another of those lovely "Bugs in Cars that may try to kill you" thingies:
Better Embedded System SW: Potentially deadly automotive software defects
I'm increasingly in favour of vehicles like the Morris 1000 or the rather more palatial Rover 110.
No active devices other than the valves in the wireless.
Though Strangelove Pater's Rover 110 did try to kill us all on Mumbles Road back in 1975.
Ooooo, new thing (for me): high cyclomatic complexity.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 10 January 2019, 15:46.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

This afternoon, for the first time ever, I have baked a cake; a proper cake, with flour and eggs and things in it. It's a cherry and almond cake, and it is absolutely deliciousComment
