X55 home because 4 buses turned up at the same time, an 8, a 502, a T6, and the X55.
The X55 managed to fit in the bus stop as the 8 and the 502 buggered off.
The T6 didn't even see me.
Woman sitting in front of me (crazy old lady) got up & changed seats because I cleared my throat.
Heaven forfend that I should actually cough.
M&S battered haddock for tea/dinner.
It was very nice.
This evening's epic may be "Hope & Glory".
Hope and Glory (1987) - IMDb
And rather good it was too.
No Septics, but a random Canadian instead.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; 8 January 2019, 22:05.When the fun stops, STOP.Comment

Tonight's tea has been homemade cottage (or shepherd's?) pie (out of the freezer) and very nice it was
I must remember to get something out of the freezer to defrost for tea tomorrow.Comment

Last afternoon of this contract. No-one's budging on the things I've requested changing so it's looking like non-renewal. Lots of half-promises from the agency but nothing solid in writing, and they're not willing to answer emails, only the phone.
Shock horror, the things the pimp promised wrt remote working at the start were a fabrication and a complete surprise to the client.
The slippery tulip even tried to get me on WhatsApp this morning.
I shouldn't be surprised - I've been doing this long enough now.

This evening's film has been Sophie Scholl - Die letzten Tage, about the young woman who was arrested by the Gestapo in 1943, along with her brother and other members of the White Rose resistance movement, and executed after a "trial" a few days later. A good film on a sombre subject.
