A mod (NAT) upset him so he started deleting all his posts - after all he seems to hate his job at the university and has little to do there anyway.

Then something happened so he can no longer delete his posts and he seems to have left us permanently.

Settings where changed so you can only delete posts up to two years old or something like that.
