Morning all Nice day here, dog walk earlier produced a couple of kilos of bolets, which I'll either dry or serve as part of dinner tonight.

Started gloomy but now nice and sunny

The sheep that have been there most weeks of the past few months moved out a few days ago. Not sure whether to another field, or Sainsbury's
Probably members of the Agaricus family. Field and Horse mushrooms are very tasty - one of the ones we ate last night was a horse mushroom.

In with the incredibly pongy hoi polloi.

Except I'm off to do something more interesting now.

Stone me, it's a bit warm out there.

The walk up the tow path was distinctly different to yesterday's.

          Phew wot a scorcher.

Today's dvd haul included "The Klansman" with Lee Marvin & Richard Burton.

I suspect they were both pissed as newts all the way through making it.

The 2nd dvd is "Poodle Springs" a tv movie with James Caan as Phillip Marlowe.

This sounds a bit more promising.

Stone me, it's quiet in here today.

To celebrate the sunny weather I've cut the lawns and gathered up another half cwt of apples.

          I am now officially dead.

          Is there anybody there?

          Knock once for yes.

          Knock twice for no.

            Home, and weekend!

Not a bad run home really, though the last mile or two was very congested, which tends to detract from the better bits

And as I forgot: lunch was chicken on a wholemeal cob, with a bag of plain crisps

I lost some database accesses. And I had to get a cycle locker again. Apart from that it went very smooth.
