ASDIP. 3.21pm, I've decided to come into the shade for a bit.
The "security guards" on the beach are Maasai men in full warrior garb. Their main duty is to watch for guests raising the beer flag. They don't get you the drinks, but contact the bar staff, who run along the beach to take your order. All very civilised.

At the hotel

I'd forgotten to book through September until the other weekend, with the result that I've ended up in the disabled room (they only have one, this place being so small). Everything's very low. Still, it's only for one night; and at least there's plenty of room to manoeuvre.

One thing went wrong in the demo, but that turned out to be the team lead's typo in a bit of code I've never even looked at; so that was OK
