Barmaid: "Hi, haven't seen you in ages!"

    Me: "Nearly three years!"

4 mins to sunset here and then winter is on its way again.

Due to this being a leap year, the longest day was yesterday not today. winter is already on its way...

            No summer 2017 is approaching.

I was hoping that we were going to get a few decent days this summer but if you say so...

                  Back to the hotel

Last night in the pub was people I don't know yet, but tonight there were familiar faces. Matt (son of John, running the place on a day-to-day basis though his dad's name is still over the door) was there, along with several other members of staff from olden times, aka 2013. It's nice when you can go back to a pub after three years and people are pleased to see you there again

I think John may be there tomorrow, which will make a change from seeing him after his gigs with Neil Innes and The Rutles

                    Overcast but mild again here

The toilet in my hotel room is seriously blocked. Not my fault, honest
