I just went to see zoolander 2. On my own. As everyone else is at centreparcs.

I expected it to be really rubbish. But it was not as bad as that.
A few too many cameo appearances though.Comment

Yup.
It's only just dusk now.
Won't be long before the clocks go on & I'll be getting up in the dark again.Comment

The visit to ZeitMater went.
Not well, but just about endurable.
Should have taken a half bottle of sparkly plonk.
She'd have liked that better than the schloer crap.Comment

If she's allowed to drink then supermarkets sell those small bottles of wine you get on a plane/train that are a glassful.Originally posted by zeitghost View PostThe visit to ZeitMater went.

The schloer stuff was pretty sweet, but I suppose the Asti Spumante would have been better received.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostIf she's allowed to drink then supermarkets sell those small bottles of wine you get on a plane/train that are a glassful.Comment

Astounding scenes here as, midway through cooking a fry-up, I go to the fridge for the bacon and discover I don't have any!
I had to turn the pans off and nip over to Sainsbury's Local for some. And there was a queue, which is unusual in there, at least at that time in the evening.
And of course they only had the cheapskate bacon, that shrivels away to the size of a toenail clipping the moment so much as a warm breath gets near it
Still, utter disaster was averted
And I was using my new sauté pan, which appears to be bourgeois-speak for "frying pan with a lid". It's very good - the sausages in particular seem to benefit greatly from it

Oven was playing up earlier
So switched it off and left it for a few hours. It now works again, just tested it cooking 2 Greggs sausage rolls.Comment
