Just watched the BBC 4 programme about Ada Lovelace from last night. Excellent stuff, including an appearance by Sydney Padua, creator of The Thrilling Adventures of Lovelace and Babbage

I highly recommend that book, by the way - as well as it being very amusing, it's not often one encounters a comic graphic novel that's been so thoroughly researched that each chapter not only has footnotes with extensive quotations from original sources, but furthermore has footnotes to the footnotes
