Back is much improved but still not good. Today, my left leg decided to join in the fun - my knee keeps feeling as if it's about to give way, and in fact almost has on several occasions
Luckily the polling station is only a couple of hundred yards away. Three ballot papers this time!Comment

Three here too. Town council was disappointing - 2 places to fill and only 3 candidates - two of whom were from the same party. If Labour can't be bothered to pretend to make an effort, I don't feel inclined to vote for them in the General election - not that it much matters, according to the Telegraph, the odds of the Tories getting in here are 100%.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostBack is much improved but still not good. I voted for the married couple who live next door to my best mate, and used to drink in my local before a combination of having children, local politics, and sodding DMU demolishing the place caused them to stay home a lot moreOriginally posted by mudskipper View PostThree here too. I voted for bloke across the back who's been doing it for ages - years ago (before ms#5, so 17+) I used to do fundraising for the Blackwater Wildlife Rescue, and he opened our fete for us, so I have a soft spot for him. He also followed it up when I contacted him after developers blocked the cycle route to work, so if he can be bothered, so can I. I voted for his mate too, as I can't bring myself to vote Tory.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostI voted for the married couple who live next door to my best mate, and used to drink in my local before a combination of having children, local politics, and sodding DMU demolishing the place caused them to stay home a lot more

Evening All
Just got home after a brief delay in customs. First time in years they went through my luggage. Fortunately they didn't ask me to fire up the laptop as evidence that I do any work as an IT contractor would be scant.
What channel are we watching the election on?Comment
