Home, and all prescriptioned up
Very sunny, though there's still a bit of a chill in the air. I suspect it'll turn cold tonight.
No idea what to do about dinner. There's probably something in the freezer that will suit.Comment

I have five people that I am voting for out of choice. I have to vote for 5 more because I seconded them and that's the rules.
But from my perspective, there are five people who really deserve the votes. No doubt my choice isn't the same as other people, but there has been bugger all engagement from most of the candidates so for that reason alone I'm not voting for them.Comment

Thanks. I had 3 of those 5 and MS had mentioned the other 2. It seems a little bit like voting for your mates but really I just want to vote for people whose aims are aligned to mine. Hence the CUK preferenceComment

If there weren't people I particularly wanted to get in then I would have voted for more - but I'd hate a vote for someone I wasn't that bothered about to stop FaQQer or Pondy from getting a place (apparently I'm almost guaranteed a place as there's always more votes for the women). It's all a bit unknown as most people won't visit the ipse forums and will vote based on the statements or other random criteria (actually most people won't vote at all!) Assuming all else is equal, it would be nice if the CUK vote was enough to swing it for our guysComment

Decided to try something different for dinner, so I went to the fried chicken and pizza shop up the road that used to be the pizza shop opposite, until they moved (late last year? early this? can't remember) for chicken and chips.
Pros: due to a well-timed gap in the traffic, I was back in my flat with it within a minute of it being handed over.
Cons: it wasn't that nice, really
The chips - fries, I suppose - were much better than they often are from these places, but when it comes to "Southern" fried chicken, nowhere really comes close to KFC. TBH, the Sainsbury's own brand SFC from the hot food counter has a better, more balanced flavour.
Conclusion: I may pop in there again, but only because it's on the way home from the pub, and the rather over-the-top seasoning would probably be more tempting after a skinful. But I won't make a point of it.
Ho hum; at least I can stop wondering what to have for dinner now, until tomorrowComment
