The leak needs doing, so need to get it sorted sooner rather than later.

Also just discovered this house is a bleedin' draughty house.

All the windows are from teh 80's and do need replacing but double glazing here costs a small fortune and we have huge windows in the house, I know one window/patio door alone will cost at least €10k to replace and we have 3 of them!

Would stick it on to the mortgage but given the fight we had to go through just to get the mortgage last year, they simply won't extend it.
Once DIY guy has been, will need to head to cloggy B&Q to get some draught excluding tape for the windows

Yep, its summat Mr N has set up on media centre or whatever system we're using to listen to music. Might need to delete and restore them to see if that works.

Btw have they worked out what is wrong with your ankle?
        Aye time will help.

Currently sat in the waiting room and I reckon there's a few hours to go since I'm hardly an emergency.

I might order a pizza. Would that be considered poor form? Would I be expected to share?

Currently sat in a&e having just had my ankle x-rayed. My first x-ray. Do I get to keep the pics? Everyone seems very interested in my date of birth and they do have a lot of different receptions.

Think I might be a while but hey ho. It's free.
They use the date of birth as an additional check that they're dealing with the correct person. I seem to remember there being a bit of a fuss the other year when they accidentally killed or injured someone by giving them the wrong treatment, because there happened to be two people with similar names (just spelt differently but sounded the same) with the same date of birth in the same clinic on the same day.

Good luck, and let's hope your name isn't a common one!

Order an extra large and share with the nurses. Your waiting time will drop dramatically

Not that I care about 1,2 or 4 but I mainly listen to 6 so that's a right PITA.

              Thankfully 3 is working
BBC iplayer are changing streaming formats for live broadcasts. I'll dig up the blog announcement.

Try a few UK companies and see if they would come over and do it if you paid the additional travel costs? Woulds probably still be cheaper that the locals by the sound of it.

What's confusing is the lack of freeloading eastern europeans. I was lead to believe they would be queuing around the corner. Lazy feckers can't even be arsed to take our free healthcare.

There's a massively overweight chap just turned up with a cartoon Del Boy tshirt with the word cushty over about six inches of visible flesh. He's on the phone to a bookie and keeps setting off the door sensor. I love stereotypes.

Battery @ 20% we've entered the red zone. Gulp.

Having a rather specialist flute repaired by the recommended repairer (in central London). The master craftsman charges a mere £25 an hour for repairs..
