Having said that, there are loads of pictures of vintage manuals online and, I daresay, videos on that YouTube thingy.
I think I'll hang fire & wait for a more auspicious day.

I suspect anything I try today will end in disaster with blood everywhere.

Not that I mind blood everywhere, but it's most likely to be mine.

Washed bedding coz it looked like it was going to be fine.

        First mistake.

As I was preparing the veg for lunch, I thought "that's odd, my feet seem to be getting wet, how unusual".

Fecking washing fecking machine is fecking leaking.

Ran through the cycle whilst furiously mopping up water.

        Pegged out sheets on line.

Sheets acquire green gunk from lower washing line coz it's been wet.

        Ho hum.

        Leave sheets out.

        Clean up kitchen.

        Start the vac frenzy.

        Starts raining.

Go get sheets whilst falling over cat.

        Bring sheets back in.

        Stick two over bannisters.

3rd sheet has been shat on by a bird.

Back in the washing machine despite leak.

        Ho fecking hum.

I'm getting a bit fed up with all this.

At least the fly is having a worse day than you.

Lamb cooking away nicely on the bbq, lovely smell of garlic and herbs.

Bit knackered now as I had to change the litter and that's normally Mr N's job, so is loading and unloading the dishwasher

Flipping heck Zeity! Go back to bed, it's not safe out there.

Ouch, one of my parkrun buddies slipped and broke her ankle today.

Staying in bed is definitely the way to stay safe.

And very nice it was too, added some sliced spuds in the last hour so they cooked in the lamb juices.

Not having to worry about packing my bag is a bonus
Plus I can have a good slug of booze tonight without worrying about getting up early
