Just discovered yet another resistor that the Esteemed Customers seem to burn out.
The direness of the smoke depends on the setting of a particular switch.
In this case, the switch was set to 600 ohms instead of 50.
When it's set to 50 the smoke would make an Apache proud.
I've found a way to stick a 100mA fuse into the circuit.
We shall see if this makes any difference.
