          I tried the "change all the electrolytic capacitors you can see" trick.

          It didn't work.

          In fact, I suspect it made it worse.

          I think the line output transformer is buggered, but not in an entirely good way.

                Its 24 years since I last played with computer chips and even I know that pin 1 usually is blatantly obvious.
