    One year after development started, and the client has finally mentioned that a report doesn't work.

    Possibly because it works off the old design, which is (by it's very nature), not the new design.

        That's the danger of when you write code with a hard-coded list of values hidden away.

        The report calls a function (not even in a package) which does an update to some tables, based on a list of values from a tulipty design.

        Change the design, and the function stops working.

          Client says that it worked in November, which I find very hard to believe to say the least.

          I suspect that they were testing with old data, and it worked. Test it with new data and it doesn't.

                    Well that was an interesting morning!

                    BSC was all sweetness and light in handover meeting but also displayed she clearly hasn't a clue or taken time to read handover documents.

                    Meeting with sponsor lasted all of 3 minutes most of which were spent telling me he couldn't be bothered with the project anyway.

                    3 weeks and counting....................
