Already have. Contract finishes end of the month. They offered me another 6 months and a rate increase.

Decision just made. We will build the new software.

That means the 6 month extension project will now be the new software. They'll need to hire another BI Consultant to take over my existing work & I'm stuck on a project thats going to run for years.

I am actually loathed to come in these days.

In other news had meeting with line manager to discuss this "change", they are descoping the project, I'm still on board but they are also trying to lump another project on me which is yet another poisoned chalice.

even thought they are descoping it still means I'm manging a fecking project sans resources!
