All well and good but there are a number of instances where clients just can't be bothered like TFL. No good being 100% outside there.Originally posted by Andy Hallett View PostAnother week head down working through the products we are taking to market. We're waiting on the final draft (30th I think) and a partner selection exercise before launching.
To remind everyone. Nothing has changed in IR35 legislation, this is about education and assurance. At our firm, those contractors who are genuinely outside will be very well supported.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

If the client makes a decision come April that you're inside then you can shout and scream all you want.... You are now inside.Originally posted by runandbecome View PostAlso One thing that hasn't essentially changed is the law.
If you are outside IR35 by most measures there is no reason why tomorrow you should be inside.
The only thing bringing us inside is the fear of the PS or the agency that they will pay hefty back pay of the unpaid tax.
Maybe there could even be an industry round this instead of insuring the contractor the insurance could insure the agency or the PS client.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

I totally agree. Its very unlikely to get sorted.Originally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostYou never know, I wiped some unicorn pooh off of the bottom of my shoe, just this morning.

But it'd be a bit silly to say, at this point, no I am definitely not staying. After all they have another 4 weeks left to sort something.
Of course, if something else comes up in that time then I will definitely avoid the hassle and not extend.Rhyddid i lofnod psychocandy!!!!Comment

To be honest it will be most interesting seeing where it all is a year from now.Originally posted by psychocandy View PostI totally agree. Its very unlikely to get sorted.

A massive increase in ICT Visas and offshoring (to companies in India with UK shareholders who are also Tory MP's and ministers) resulting in huge tax losses to the country, while at the same time Brexiters fly union jacks claiming to have 'taken back control' would be my guessOriginally posted by MrMarkyMark View PostTo be honest it will be most interesting seeing where it all is a year from now.
