Why does the EU seem to be working very well for me, and Mr Darmstadt, and some others on the board, and not for the rest of you? Is it because of you yourselves?
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

how is the EU working well for you that a decent Visa system and a trade group wouldn't ?
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

Let's clarify. Is that what you thought I meant or are you being obtuse?

You seem to object to people knocking a mainstream party. I find that curious.

Besides, I'm bored of all this tulipe. If Brits want to leave the EU, go ahead; I can hedge my bets with dual citizenship anyway.

Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

It's not difficult, of course. The motives behind the referendum are completely undemocratic. After all, if the firs vote returned a "Yes", would they hold another to ask "are you sure". Of course not.

We could have a vote every 7 years perhaps:

Should the current Queen remain as monarch or should the monarchy be abolished (or an alternative 'No' option).

Then when a monarch dies, the accession of the new monarch could be ratified by a popular vote. I really don't see how anyone who believes in democracy could object to this.
It seems rather silly to abolish a reigning monarch, you can't just have a vote and then phone the queen and say "sorry, you're fired".

At most, one referendum per monarch about whether the monarchy should continue when that king/queen dies/abdicates would be reasonable.

So why should I be bound by an accession 62 years ago without having a vote?

I don't need to go through the bureaucratic cack of a visa system; no visa system will ever be 'decent' because it will be run by the sort of people who staff immigration departments; tiny minded cretins who don't know their elbow from their arses and have to look on a map of the world and search for hours to find unknown territories like 'UK', rather like the feckwhitted piece of useless flesh that processed my residence permit when I first came to NL. I can also offer my services anywhere in the EU without any bureaucratic nonsense, and indeed I do, and I make money out of it; I can also live in NL with my girlfriend, can return to the UK if necessary with no further ado. Now then, why are you unable to get benefits from being in the EU? Should your inability or unwillingness to get those advantages mean that they should be taken away from me?

Yes, so you vote 'no' twice.
