Putin, Russian oligarchs who prop him up, the Russian owners and senior execs of those companies...
Russian shares tanking, along with it's currency being dumped, hurts exactly those people who can make Putin back down. His message would probably be to hold the line and things will return to normal, they will be rewarded, or similar.
The Russian people are unlikely to do anything, it's only the new aristocracy who stand a chance of forcing a de-escalation from within Russia.
I hope so. Good argument, and not one solely aimed at getting a rise out of me, so well done.

I don't aim to get a rise out of you, I just disagree with a lot of your conclusions. A lot of those are speculation - it could turn out that you are right, but I doubt it. As I've said before though, I tend to make stuff up based on my own research, so there's every chance I'm wrong. But of course I doubt it, or else why would I say it?
And right at the very start of this (before Russia moved in) you called the Russian threat "sabre rattling" and didn't seem to think anything would come of it.

How wrong was I?
I read a lot of tin foil hat sites, and think I have drawn my own conclusions. When you monitor these sites versus the various news sites around the globe for a period of years you spot patterns, learn which bloggers are full of tulip and which sites are biased to which sides. This current situation I have been monitoring for a while now. Predictions from "trusted" bloggers were being made back in January, and I was in doubt as what they were saying was off the chart. Off the chart is now happening, and the rest of what they are saying is this leads to WW3.
I don't like it. I am not wishing it. I want diplomacy and common sense to prevail. I just doubt it.

So you have links to 'trusted' blogs telling you it's going to 'go nuclear' do you? If they are at all credible why don't you share them and let others judge for themselves?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

Why don't you read the mainstream press? The Times, telegraph and if you want Britain to surrender in sympathy with Russia to Russia then the Guardian and Independent. Instead you read all sorts of nutters and conspiracy theorists. Or are the words too long for you?
Let us not forget EU open doors immigration benefits IT contractors more than anyone

Or even primary sources. You can easily find out what NATO, UN etc statements actually say on their websites without having someone elses spin on it.

You need the reading comprehension age of a 13 year old to read a broadsheet.
He's better of sticking to the likes of the DM, Express and Mirror.

To be fair The Guardian doesn't like Russia, it's not left wing enough
Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.

This chap Lyndon Larouche called out everything we are currently witnessing, 2 months ago.
