Where are the water canons? I've seen far more effective crowd control in other countries. This is almost being "allowed" to descend into this.

They also weren't descending on parliament trying to topple the government. I suspect if you had a few thousand people turn up and start lobbing rocks, petrol bombs and bullets at the palace of Westminster you'd see a different response.Originally posted by Ticktock View PostReally? It certainly seems to be badly managed.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostWhere are the water canons? I've seen far more effective crowd control in other countries. Not only 'allowed' but provoked by implanted mercenaries - provocateurs.Originally posted by suityou01 View PostWhere are the water canons? No doubt some of the media are biased but it doesn't change the fact that you have very violent protest going on there. Policemen are getting shot, that appears to be a fact reported by reputable news outlets such as the BBC as well as less reputable ones. Are we supposed to believe they are all lying because of some global conspiracy and both sides want the situation to descend into chaos? Doesn't seem a very likely explanation does it.Originally posted by mos View PostI am not convinced. The Media in Eastern Europe are owned by foreign interest. I know how incredibly biased they are because events in my own country are being shown in completely untrue light by local (global) TV stations - and are strongly biased towards war and unrest mongering. You should not believe what you see in media. Our region suffered enough, they should just let us be. Go to India and China and leave us alone (to warlords).

I would say it is 'well managed' by those who incited this situation for their own nefarious agenda.Originally posted by doodab View PostIt certainly seems to be badly managed. If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.Comment

I simply don't buy into the conspiracy crap TBH. No doubt foreign governments have been sticking their oar in but the idea that the whole thing has been orchestrated by nefarious foreign "warmongers" just doesn't ring true. You have a divided country, there have been protesters on the streets for months and the main incitement seems to be the recent actions of the president and subsequent violent attacks by the protesters attacking government buildings. I really don't think they needed any help to escalate it at all and the idea that it all would have passed of peacefully if the rest of the world wasn't watching is somewhat delusional IMO.Originally posted by mos View PostI would say it is 'well managed' by those who incited this situation for their own nefarious agenda.Last edited by doodab; 20 February 2014, 14:49.While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a bit easier to burn sheep when the police turn a blind eye, than stand upto your government whilst getting shot at by snipers and armed thugsOriginally posted by d000hg View PostIf wonder if the French authorities are getting ideas - they're always having riots.Socialism is inseparably interwoven with totalitarianism and the abject worship of the state.
No Socialist Government conducting the entire life and industry of the country could afford to allow free, sharp, or violently-worded expressions of public discontent.Comment

Fake till you make it. War mongering mercenaries go home! I do not consider BBC that 'reputable' and they likely repeat material they are given.Originally posted by doodab View PostNo doubt some of the media are biased but it doesn't change the fact that you have very violent protest going on there. And you seem to be forgetting what happened during London riots. Were people burning premises and flats 'normal' English folks and representative to your general population? I hope not.Last edited by mos; 20 February 2014, 14:53.If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.Comment

That's real guns in hands of police - sniper rifles that should never be deployed against crowds.
The only thing people there have is courage and numbers on their side - and also that they are right, that takes real balls that not many people have.Comment
