Where are the water canons? I've seen far more effective crowd control in other countries. This is almost being "allowed" to descend into this.

Originally posted by mos View PostI am not convinced. The Media in Eastern Europe are owned by foreign interest. I know how incredibly biased they are because events in my own country are being shown in completely untrue light by local (global) TV stations - and are strongly biased towards war and unrest mongering. You should not believe what you see in media. Our region suffered enough, they should just let us be. Go to India and China and leave us alone (to warlords).

Originally posted by doodab View PostNo doubt some of the media are biased but it doesn't change the fact that you have very violent protest going on there. Policemen are getting shot, that appears to be a fact reported by reputable news outlets such as the BBC as well as less reputable ones. Are we supposed to believe they are all lying because of some global conspiracy and both sides want the situation to descend into chaos? Doesn't seem a very likely explanation does it.

And you seem to be forgetting what happened during London riots. Were people burning premises and flats 'normal' English folks and representative to your general population? I hope not.Last edited by mos; 20 February 2014, 14:53.If UKIP are the answer, then it must have been a very stupid question.Comment

That's real guns in hands of police - sniper rifles that should never be deployed against crowds.
The only thing people there have is courage and numbers on their side - and also that they are right, that takes real balls that not many people have.Comment
