10. The jumper-over-the-shoulders look.
It's not a look.
Again, it definitely is. You don't really fit in in the North-East wearing a pink shirt with raised collar, knotted jumper around the neck, and deck shoes, so these people stand out and are pretty common-place during term time. Then they wonder why the locals don't like students.
20. Regattas.
Nobody actually likes regattas.
The river is thronged when we have rowing regattas here.
Being sired by a 75 year old, running away with exotic girlfriend from your £30k a year boarding school to hide out in a 5 star carribbean hotel. That's posh.
