I dont like that it asks for more access to your phone...it wants the ability to record voice from calls...WTF??

Constructive please! What don't you like about the new one? I find it much easier to surf around and jump from forum to forum. I don't like that I can no longer moderate from the app If there are specifics you don't like or don't think are working correctly let me know and I will ask the developers. I am guessing that you are on iOS as they have only just approved that update...

I'll admit the new version does seem to load pages faster, took me a while to work out how to quote posts, think I'm just adverse to change

I couldn't understand that, and I'm not going to install a CUK app which requires my phone status and identity unless someone can explain why you need to know that.

Look, I really don't see what the problem is with allowing me download all your calls so that I can listen to them and then either bribe you, steal your clients or just laugh at you. Have you got something to hide?









In all seriousness I am not sure why it asks for access for these items so have asked their support. The app is provided through a third party who specialise in forum apps and cover the bigger forum platforms. Will post when I get an answer.

SM - admit the new one takes a bit of getting used to but I do think it is an improvement on the last one when you get used to it!

I do agree! On the iPad I do tend to use most sites in their native web format rather than an app. I was hoping that the new version would have solved the issue you had with it last time in terms of being able to navigate around quickly! I think Nick did such a wicked job with the extra forum list at the top and bottom of each page etc that navigating the web site itself will usually be best on a device with enough screen room to fit it all in. I do really like the app on the phone though. Once they sort out being able to moderate from the phone again I will be happy
