Makes me realise why companies such as John Lewis do well. They have a reputation and they make sure it stays high with excellent customer service. What Floors2Go do to their customers might get them a bit of dosh in the short-term but in the long-term it will cause the company to go down hill.
You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get what's owed but at least you've now got an option. Get your money back and then turn into a vindictive bastard.

No do it, the card firm will go after them for the money and threaten to take the card service off them.

          +1

Luckily I still keep a Batman suit and a pair of handcuffs.

When are you going back with a "friend" who happens to have a camera, and a pair of handcuffs (with no key) to attach yourself to something solid in the office?

Remember all publicity isn't necessarily good publicity as Starbucks is learning.

Seriously, don't threaten - everyone does that and it prepares them.

Just call trading standards, they'll just be on the phone for 5 mins and will tell you exactly how to proceed - then come down like a ton of bricks once they get an inch. It does take time though.

My mate had an issue with a high street jewellers who wouldn't refund a ring he'd bought, he spent Sat morning scaring away customers at the front door. It wasn't quite the happy ending he hoped for, they called the police. So maybe don't try that one.

Phone trading standards, they love this stuff. Then phone Debit card company.

Continue harassing the company but don't feel the need to tell them about your other actions.

The problem with firms like this is that they don't give a stuff about repeat business - it is a pile 'em high, sell 'em cheap operation (although at £60 sq m possibly not so cheap).

Bad after sales service soon gives the company a bad rep - that will hardly do the company any good in the long run - I would never buy from them again no matter how cheap they sell. I am sure many of you on here would do the same and not advise others to as well.
