Contacted the card company and holding Floors2Go for non-delivery of goods (30 days has passed).
Should I take them to court as well (I'd love to do that) or would that not work since I already contacted Bank.

Ah - gotcha. I thought you were saying that there is no point in paying by card.Originally posted by mudskipper View PostI know. If he had, he'd be covered. There was a very long thread saying that you get the same protection on debit card.
With you now, and I can't be bothered looking for the other thread.

That's because they don't think you'll do it. If everyone who threatened to sue took companies to court, there would be no time to do any business.Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostCalled the head office after sending a letter. They don't seem in the slightest bothered by my threats to take them to court or the fact they are not refunding my money!
So stop moaning and threatening, do it. Worst case, you cause them the hassle of fighting it and it costs you £30 in court costs.

Where was that thread saying there was no point in paying by credit card....Originally posted by NorthWestPerm2Contr View PostOk I called Card company and they said I can't claim it back because I cancelled the transaction and they don't have to refund the money by card by law (their policy happens to be to "refund" it by cheque)
any idea what to do here - or am I going to have to go to court?

best idea I heard all day! If I hadn't gone and made it clear how I felt about the company then I'd definitely consider it!Originally posted by Cliphead View Post
