Who was today's alleged celebrity nonce? That went quiet quite quickly.

I saw the Sunday Times (at Gambados). Apparently they are about to arrest 6(5 already named) and have a list of 25. But alot of victims don't want to testify. Presumably they just want the money?

In the Metro, it stated a man aged in their 60's and from London was arrested at 6:45pm last night.

its was 6:45am and he's been released without being named.

I know the last one not named (from a fortnight ago) and he is definitely 100% innocent.

Just because of who he is. There have always been rumours regarding the others but I don't think anyone has ever said anything about this guy, he turned up worked and then always went back home.

back in the seventies child abuse seems to have been frequent amongst those who thought they could get away with it.

now victims can fight back - quite rightly.

But it does mean pretty much anybody can phone up and 'report' a celebrity they dislike. Evidence is surely very thin on the ground here - beyond proving two people were in the same building and maybe (if you're lucky) alone in the same room, what can you bring as evidence? Anyone who has been in such a situation could report that person for molesting them, and nobody could tell either way.

It would be difficult to prove the accusations after all these years. As D000hg says, evidence will be hard to find and the very nature of the offences, it is one persons word against another.
