For a few years I had a client that sent me to India for the winter.
2 years ago I had Nov + Dec on beach
Worked the whole of last year.
Had Jan - March off this year.

Not sure how things will work out next year
Sounds spot on. I'm hoping to spend Winter 2013 here :

Koh Lipe | All about Koh Lipe in Thailand

It's good to know other contractors have managed to make this kind of thing work out

Ko Lanta is lovely. Phi Phi a bit small. Chang is nice.

Any ideas on Ealing? Is it too far away from the centre? And does it have good connections?
I can vouch for Ealing. Been living right next to Ealing Common for about a year now. Awesome transport links with 3 tube lines within a 10 min walk (Centra, Piccadilly and District) Good thing about Central and District as well is that even though it's only Zone 3, it's at the end of the line so pretty much guaranteed a seat in the morning! takes me about 40 mins form Ealing Broadway to work at Bank

Also, got the main line train to Paddington which gets you there in about 10 mins. That main line train also takes you to Heathrow in about 15 mins which is sweet too!

Lifestyle wise, Ealing Common and Walpole park are awesome parks especially in the summer. Some really good pubs around too! Only thing lacking is a decent supermarket, theres a Tescos which is med sized but for a larger one gotta go to Acton, but thats only 15 mins up road anyways.

Koh Tao is nice and relaxed, or was a few years back.

So this is the great ruction in CUK? Calling Spod an arse, thinking CM is a sockie, and having an opinion on London property? What a joke.

Why are you incapable of moving on when everyone else has?

And your analysis above of what was said is piss poor.
