Awesome transport links with 3 tube lines within a 10 min walk (Centra, Piccadilly and District) Good thing about Central and District as well is that even though it's only Zone 3, it's at the end of the line so pretty much guaranteed a seat in the morning! takes me about 40 mins form Ealing Broadway to work at Bank

Also, got the main line train to Paddington which gets you there in about 10 mins. That main line train also takes you to Heathrow in about 15 mins which is sweet too!

Lifestyle wise, Ealing Common and Walpole park are awesome parks especially in the summer. Some really good pubs around too! Only thing lacking is a decent supermarket, theres a Tescos which is med sized but for a larger one gotta go to Acton, but thats only 15 mins up road anyways.
Cheers KiwiContractor, looks like you are enjoying Ealing Common! Is Ealing Common far away from Ealing Broadway? I think I would prefer Ealing Broadway, just for the fact there are more shops and a high street.

Ealing Common is about a 5 min walk from Ealing Broadway (station and shops) they're both next to each other really

OP, check out Maida Vale / Queens Park / Hammersmith if you're looking for West. Great night life out that way.

If you want to go East then you'll find nice areas that won't cost the earth around Bow, Blackheath, Greenwich.

As for the kerfuffle, Gentile is a bit of an arse who seems to always have an opinion on everything. Dooog is a class A cock, ClipH is a good lad for a Dhim and MF and SS secretly fancy each other.

I'm also an arse, but I don't care, this is the internet.

Meh. Being called a cock by someone who takes pleasure in being a cock themself is pretty meaningless. You couldn't have a more appropriate avatar.

It's a mirror bumboy. You see what you are.

As an observation, not necessarily one I agree or disagree with, it does seem to be a fairly common theme with you though, approaching a consensus almost.

Centre on Ladbroke Grove tube station and draw a square about 2 K round it, North, East and South of that is all pretty alright living, South is Notting Hill, expensive there, but cheaper around. North is Maida Vale, same story you will have great big expensive houses with some affordable flatshares all round.

I lived that neck of the woods for 2 years. Wild, wild times. Fond memories.
