I used to have trouble with a woman at work being nasty to a few people, including me.
Then I realised she had a lovely pair of tits, so I started being extra nice to her, which got her off my back at least. She even came over and joined me for lunch yesterday.Comment

+1 Couldn't agree more. Writing the tulip down helps prevent depression when you're under attack because it stops the brain ruminating on the problems as much, the reason being that it doesn't want to risk forgetting the detail of the problem.Originally posted by ACYork View PostAnyway, being bullied causes depression - that makes it difficult to do anything about it and affects your home life. I saw an interesting TED talk about how to deal with problems and it turns out that talking about them doesn't help you deal with the psychological stress - writing them down does, so my advice would be to keep a diary.
Rumination leads to depression.
To the OP's child: Get applying for other jobs intensively, for a higher rate of pay, and once you get one get out of the current job as soon as possible. Don't give them any notice at all, just get out of there.
Forget unions, compensation or justice, they are of no use to the young.Comment

Nothing new here. That's what I'd expect from some jumped up minge.Originally posted by BolshieBastard View Post
Not so long ago, he was won an award with his company for an outstanding year. But then his management team moved on and a new manager (female) came in.
Within 3 months of her taking over (its her first managerial position in this country), she's doing everything she can to destroy his career with disciplinary cases here, there and everywhere. Even his deputy manager has said the treatment is appalling but does nothing to help.
