I got confused this morning when someone mentioned mortgages?

We are contractors. If you've been one for a few years neither of these words should be in you vocabulary.

In other words, write loads of happy flow test cases, write lots of clever looking reports, generate some graphs from the test tool and some more customised graphs from excel, stick in all in a flashy powerpoint presentation and send a huge invoice. But don't, whatever you do, do any real testing.

Oh, and I nearly forgot; award yourself CMM and TMM Level 5 somewhere along the way.
On a project at a 'similar' bank to this one a couple of years ago, the PM used to keep calling me (as the TM) to meetings and saying "Lets talk about testing". I usually replied with, "No, lets f***ing do some instead" but his budgets only allowed for talking about it This is why this stuff happens.

I am with both Natwest and RBS and excluding this event they are the best retail banks out there IMO.

No but the last mortgage I got was paid off in full in two years.

It's losing their underdraft that's annoying most people. I am thinking about moving banks
