And you do very well at achieving it! What's with the random new-lines?

Seems a very depressing attitude to me. I genuinely enjoy writing code in a similar way I imagine a plasterer or carpenter or landscape gardener enjoys making stuff. Obviously that makes me a total nerd, but I'd rather be a nerd and happy than a miserable big-shot.

Daily report to your missus ? How old are you ?

Its like when they used to put bad kids on report at school and the teachers would sign it and comment and you had to take home to parents.

        Karl Pilkinton's diary anyone?

Come on Suity, you know you want to do this via a blog so we can all read it. Pleeeeeeeeease.

You may have missed the point here 5*. It's a daily report that I file, and CC the missus. She is "in the loop" so no need to talk about work stuff when I get in and I also have a daily report on record. PM me if this is too hard.

            Arf arf.

The whole of CUK is my blog Pondy. In fact, just be grateful I let you on here. Now kneel before Suity.

This may seem a bit obvious but if you don't want to mention work when you get in then you've got the wrong contract. You seem to be expecting the next one to be awful, which almost guarantees it will be ...?

right, so you are cc'ing your wife in to avoid having a conversation with her about your failings when you get home.
Fair point and why hasn't anyone ever thought of this before

Practically perfect in every way....there's a time and (more importantly) a place for malarkey.

Thanks for your concern but it's ok. There's no way I'm falling for that one.
