I didn't say that. I thought you might get the logic - but I will spell it out. The East is getting its act together morally (at least on a micro level) and economically. The West is losing its morals and can't ee the writing on the wall.

I disagree. He is a BRILLIANT priest. Not great at meeting new adults (I remember the first time he met me he tarted to shake), but amazing with children. Christ was not crucified in heaven but between two thieves. Our priest lives in the real world. He also believes that the idea of super parishes might emerge - as church is becoming less popular. He is a realist.

And why are the East getting it together "morally"? Does that apply equally to India and China say? Is the average Indian or Chinese more moral than the average English person?
