Sticking out a boring contract

I thought the indicator was the journey had to change 'substantially'. I don't ever remember reading it changing 'materially'.

We had a huge thread on a poster who's location changed by a mile or less yet could use a completely different mode of transport to get there which cost a considerable amount more (or less I can't remember) and we had handbags as to whether that re-set the clock, which I think we agreed in the end it didn't.

This translated as 'move it to General' because the rest of it is obvious tosh.

The purpose of the travelling rules are that you decide where you live based on where work is but HMRC give you two years to decide whether you want to move (house / job) or not.

hence after two years work in the same vicinity say London you really can't justify claiming mileage to get there as you have had enough time to find a job nearer or moved closer.
