Now having piled 3 stones back on over the year she's been feeling lethargic for a few weeks. Last night she took her blood sugar level and it's near 12-14. She's now just gone for an emergency doctors appointment.

And there you go. Mrs MF just discovered this morning she's now diabetic.

        Ouch, sorry to hear that.

Speaking of LL, I have yet to hear any positive stories about it. Does seem to be a tad extreme which is not good for your system.

You basically starve your body. Total 300/500 calories a day maximum. It's got written drastic weight loss / unhealthy written all over it.

Type 2. She had gestational when we had DS1 and I believe it means you're at high risk for the future.

Problem is everyone wants the miracle weight loss and forget your need to work at it and be sensible.

Sure does, a lot of illnesses can manifest in pregnancy and leave you at risk of developing a disease later in life.

Sorry to hear trhat - Mrs BP was diabetic but is no longer.

IANAD but I think that diabetes unlikely to be caused by weight swings. It is the high weight that is the issue.

Mrs BP lost tons of weight and is no longer diabetic. She has a top secret weight loss method that I cannot divulge.

Does it involve eating less fatty/hi calorie food and exercising ?

No exercising. But you want to eat alot less of all foods and your appetite for fatty foods is diminished.
