Sure does, a lot of illnesses can manifest in pregnancy and leave you at risk of developing a disease later in life.Comment

IANAD but I think that diabetes unlikely to be caused by weight swings. It is the high weight that is the issue.
Mrs BP lost tons of weight and is no longer diabetic. She has a top secret weight loss method that I cannot divulge.Comment
