Red Dwarf is coming back

My best mate's daughter will be pleased.

She sang the theme tune which has been used unchanged for all of the series - KERCHING!!!

Been there already when I dragged my wife along to the 25th anniversary screening of Back to the Future.
It's the only film I've seen at the cinema twice

As to Red Dwarf, im sure they stopped making it as it become rubbish and everyone stopped watching it, it will probably be like the series Monkey, fondly remembered but absolute rubbish when watched again.

We bought the boxed set a few years ago - my kids enjoyed it. It does stand the test of time.

It wasn't wonderful but it was actually Red Dwarf unlike the last mini-series.

- No mention of any story-arc suggests they don't plan a long-term return
- They did slip back into character quite well
- Superb use of unexpected swearing
- Cat doesn't really look much older to me
- Kryten has mysteriously got fat

I'll give it a chance, 1st episode after so long and all. I'd much prefer they brought it back properly though, not for a 6-episode last hurrah.

- They did slip back into character quite well - first couple of minutes they were faltering a bit
- Superb use of unexpected swearing - yeah being foul mouthed is funny isn't it??
- Cat doesn't really look much older to me - he was wearing a serious hair piece & concealer
- Kryten has mysteriously got fat - That'll be the pies

The trailer for Ep2 looked decent, we'll see.

I thought it was quite good, and Red Dwarf was only ever quite good. So about as good as it ever was, and better already than the last comeback.
