To be called less intersting than Shaunbhoy is the biggest insul that I've had on thos Forum. A nice bit of ingratiation Eek. I was wondering how you survived as a relative newbie.Comment

As far as leeway goes, then the less irritating you are generally, the more leeway is given. It's got nothing to do with seniority.
It's like in real-life. If you continually bring yourself to the attention of the rozzers, you find your daily life becomes disrupted.Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!Comment

It just seems to happen that newbies are found to be 'more irritating''.Originally posted by NotAllThere View PostAs far as leeway goes, then the less irritating you are generally, the more leeway is given. It's got nothing to do with seniority.

Maybe because some of them are more irritating. There are some absolute ******* posting as old hands on here but you can see who they are and just ignore them. I know it is unfair that SB, SAS and MF (and others) get to act like 5 year olds when you dont, but to be teachers pet(s) you have to make the effort early on.Originally posted by Craic View PostIt just seems to happen that newbies are found to be 'more irritating''.Last edited by Arturo Bassick; 8 August 2011, 11:43.Just saying like.

Not all newbies. We were all newbies once.Originally posted by Craic View PostIt just seems to happen that newbies are found to be 'more irritating''.
Start posting topics that generate interest and genuine topical debate and see how you get on. Or try injecting some humour into your offerings. Originality is also a thing you might want to try and cultivate.
In the absence of those qualities, either find a forum that welcomes your current brand of banal tripe (e.g. CBeebies etc.), or prepare for a great deal more flak.
