Newbie is not equivalent to "more irritating". You just happen to be newbie and are assuming that the reason people find your irritating is because you're a newbie. But maybe there's another reason... perhaps it's because you're a pillock.

Maybe because some of them are more irritating. There are some absolute ******* posting as old hands on here but you can see who they are and just ignore them. I know it is unfair that SB, SAS and MF (and others) get to act like 5 year olds when you dont, but to be teachers pat(s) you have to make the effort early on.

I've been banned from 1 day to 10 days on quite a few occassions. The tipping point for a perm ban is to then come back and act a complete twat or continue the argument ad infinitum.

The board has a short memory(SB isn't even sure whatbhe had for breakfast) and so posters can change styles / popularity etc quickly. Carrying on a dull fecking argument is the guaranteed way to get banned permanently.

You might have 2 bans (which is pretty impressive) but you've missed an important point: you're still here. We dumped PatriotMan after 5 hours.

But I'd still put in a complaint about admin if I were you; if the owners knew how he was managing this site...

Not following all these posts completely is this not Kandr, NOB25 or one of those sockies or did they just try and join in the banter miserably without actually attacking the users and forum directly?

From a casual observer of General he seems to spend a lot of time here to say he doesn't like it and could almost be said to fit in now.

If it was just me then you could say that - but I also registered as another newbie, and that one has been banned 4 times since he joined in June.

Also, the absence of much in the way of whining newbies here would tend to suggest either newbie unfriendly territory, or that most other newbies are a bit more circumspect about what they post, and don't constantly carp on about how unfriendly everyone seems

I have heard that Admin is out of favour with the site owners over the drop off in traffic and advertising revenue to the site. They probably only need one more complaint for them to fire his ass.
