People are gonna find out it is you and word will get around anyway. I am sure one of their jealous ex friends will sell the story to someone. Might as well tell everyone before someone else does.

Looking at them they probably don't understand the fallout from ticking it let alone the realisation of how much money it is and how much it will change their life

I think the lottery organisers also play a part in (gently) persuading the winners to go public who, in the whirlwind of their win, agree.

By accident probably, I suspect they come round personally with the box already ticked with a bunch of flowers and a bottle of champagne and then ask you whether you want to receive millions of pounds...sign here please!. Oh lets have picture, then as they leave they probably mutter something like I don't suppose you mind us mentioning it to the local Gazette.

Publicity? NO THANKS!!

I watched a program the other week called "Jackpots and Jinx" and it was about the crap that winning the lottery bought into peoples lives.

One guy had been homeless and suddenly all his old low life friends are visiting him.

I would defo keep it ultra quiet. After all I'm a contractor no-one would notice the difference in my lifestyle.

Be a right pisser if their bank goes under in the 'pending collapse of society as we know it', just after they cash the cheque.

That 85k FSCS protection is worth sod all to them, if it's worth sod all at all.

They might notice when you built a 20 car/bike garage and owned 10 racehorses
