    The thugs!
I've never found comparison sites to pay off for me, I tend to use the phone and get proper quotes. I got a comparison site price some £300 higher than I paid on Saturday from the same insurer.

This site has lost its edge, waited all day for a "some loser hit my car in Tesco so now I'm claiming for injury" thread.

13 a) How did you sustain your injury
I was giving my husband a hand job in the car when someone reversed in to me causing me to involuntarily squeeze my left hand very hard. The sudden intense pain in my husbands groin area cause him to scream out and extend his arms out at great speed, striking me in the face. The force of this contact threw my head to the side making impact with the drivers window. I required 3 stiches to a cut on my right temple and extensive dental work to replace the two teeth he knocked out.

Should be worth a bob or two from the insurance that.

You must spread some reputation around before giving it to Minestrone again etc. etc.

That's cos they are owned by different insurance companies.

It's another insurance scam on the consumer.

I tend to use a direct line quote to play off against my current insurer, as they give you a 15% discount in your first year.

Insurance has gone up about £20 a year for the past 3 years.

My renewal last year was 45% higher, I got that down to around 20% with shopping round. This year it was around 25% higher and I got rid of most of that, however it took some effort.
Even with over 9 years no claims, a fairly ordinary annual mileage and being over 40 it's getting ridiculously expensive, while I can afford it I really struggle to see the value and it's hardly a surprise there are so many uninsured cars on the roads which only makes things worse.

With the new rules/laws/money making scheme, the number of uninsured vehicles on the road "should" decrease.

Btw, anybody checked out their car AskMID.co.uk?

I save a fortune by not having a car.
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'
