Couple of wickets down early for England, but Trott is still going strong. Long way off his double ton, but if Swann stays with him he might get there.

I think Trott is going to run out of partners at this rate.Originally posted by Moscow Mule View PostCouple of wickets down early for England, but Trott is still going strong. Long way off his double ton, but if Swann stays with him he might get there.Comment

And he did.
Right, I have to drop Mrs Gonzo at the shops but I should be back in time for Australia's second innings to start.
I'm hoping to see some good bowling from the English and that will wrap this series up.Comment

With any luck this Test will go the way of the second one and that's the effective end of the series (shame), but at least the aussies can play for self respect in the last Test to gain a series draw.
I must admit there's a marked difference in the thread with Australia being on the wrong end of it compared to the previous Test, fair weather supporters are a bit feeble.Comment

I think this one is in the bag now.
I can't see the current Australian tail rescuing them (which was always a possibility in the recent past).Comment

I concur. That must be game over for the Aussies now. None of their tail are that sharp with the bat so I expect this to be all over by lunchtime tomorrow."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. Not so fast. Remember, after Perth the momentum is with Australia. If the last four Oz wickets put on 450 over the next four sessions, England will struggle trying to get 200 on the last afternoon to win.

Cricket's not a big sport in Australia. We're more into our Aussie Rules and Rugby League down here.
What's the score again? I wasn't watching.
