              Heating on again. Today it's welcome as it's cold and overcast.

              Only one digger seen dredging the river. Today it's under the railway bridge.

              Saw a couple of large birds of prey hovering by the line. Not big enough to be eagles but still big.

                Train on time, but 1st class and 2nd class full, so sat shivering in compartment between carriages, accompanied by other 1st class ticket holders and their general dissatisfaction.

                Am still trying to warm up.

                  Train was (as always) on time with seats aplenty.

                  Even better was that I was early and so enjoyed a nice hot coffee and a croissant with bacon & cheese by the river.
