Train on time, plenty of space in 1st class; still no heating.
Only here for the morning then off to Koblenz for some drinkies. And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014Comment

A bit of a rarity for me to be working on a Saturday so I must have been extremely naive to have thought that I was going to have Coach D all to myself this morning. Bloomin' kids everywhere, boy scouts in fact. Still, I mustn't be churlish, I have a great deal of respect for the scouting movement and, as an adult, still get involved wherever I can. Wasn't quite up for getting everyone to join in a rendition of Riding Along On The Crest of A Wave this morning though!
Incidentally, on a darker note, I saw this shocking story in the Mail this morning:
Sick thugs stamp on train passengers head
Could have happened to any one of us rail users

Sat next to some woman this morning who was busty working on her Facebook page from her laptop. As usual, I couldn't resist peering over her shoulder for a bit of a nose and I noticed she described herself as a "Burlesque Performer". Now, what on earth is a "Burlesque Performer" when it's at home? It's a term I hear used over and over again these days and I can't fathom out what the difference is between a "Burlesque Performer" and a common or garden trampy stripper. Perhaps it's a pc term a bit like "Sex Worker" for prostitutes. Damn brazen hussies the lot of 'em if you ask me.Comment
