I would like to build a big snow mountain. So big that it leaves a dent in the ground and takes weeks to melt. But I expect I would be infringing some council by-law.Comment

Was snowing pretty heavily here for the last couple of hours in East Northants but has stopped again.Comment

You also need to make sure it is multi coloured with no obvious phallic overtones, and yes it will need to melt as fast as the rest of the snow, and finally make sure you don't infringe any human rights by building it too high, at too steep an angle etc,etc.....Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostI would like to build a big snow mountain. The students at the local campus built a huge snow willie plus testicals last year and that took weeks to melt. Sadly this years intake seem to be too thick to build big snow phalluses.Originally posted by stingman123 View PostYou also need to make sure it is multi coloured with no obvouis phallic overtones, and yes it will need to melt as fast as the rest of the snow, and finally make sure you don't infrimge any human rights by building it too high, at too steep and angle etc,etc.....Comment

We did that at school on the playing field behind the 6th form common rooms circa 1980. It was about 8 feet high and didn't finally disappear until May.Originally posted by TimberWolf View PostI would like to build a big snow mountain. Every breaktime we played a variation of British Bulldog over it.
IIRC, it was responsible for approximately two injuries per day, but they generally weren't reported in case the 'playing' got banned.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

Snowfall is more persistent now, but doesn't seem to be adding to the current (pitiful) accumulation."See, you think I give a tulip. Wrong. In fact, while you talk, I'm thinking; How can I give less of a tulip? That's why I look interested."Comment

Snowed last night here, about 3-4 inches
Got into work without a hitch, but now it appears that all the roads out (single lane roads with passing places) are blocked by crashed cars!Coffee's for closersComment
