We're about 5 miles from Leicester and only a very light sprinkle earlier this morning. Sky looks ominous though. My wife has my car today and I am nervous.Qdos Contractor - IR35 expertsComment

In which case, Lady Luck can be a fickle mistress...Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Loads here in North East Cheshire (well, six inches or so). Easily enough for the 4WD to cope with but the roads are full of loons sliding about in BMWs and other ill-equipped rear wheel drive cars so I'm staying at home.Guy Fawkes - "The last man to enter Parliament with honourable intentions."Comment

The missus informs me it has just started to snow in Winchester....my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...
