Snow plough just went speeding past. he's stopped just down the road.

Guess he didn't know about the recently installed speed bumps

Snowplough has ripped the corner off the plasticky lego type speed bump, and the plough blade is bent under. it is also leaking hydraulic fluid which should make life very very interesting for other drivers over the next few days

Just seen another APC with a Red Cross flag go flying along the main road.

Snowed last night here, about 3-4 inches
Got into work without a hitch, but now it appears that all the roads out (single lane roads with passing places) are blocked by crashed cars!

Plough is now gone, Some nice men in a council 4x4 turned up and threw salt/grit on the hydraulic oil.

This was after trying to clean it with a portable jet wash and detergent which instantly froze into a very pretty multicoloured sheet of Ice.
