I put my hiking boots on and made my way down to Tescos. The missus wants to stock up in case we get snowed in for a week, which is a possibility. Its normally a ten minute walk, but it took 30, which is bad bad bad.
I took my new video camera and filmed the cars getting stuck, up and down the A6 , and in the Tesco car park. Two dogs tied to a railing sitting patiently in the snow waiting for their owner to finish shopping. Then I walked across to the large pond and filmed the ducks sitting on the ice, and, best of all, I saw a skein of geese coming in. I have a great sequence where they hit the ice then go skidding along, then they throw themselves backwards so they skate along on their bums, till they come to rest amongst the ducks
