Just 1 inch brings London to a halt. If we get the foot of snow they are saying is bound for London then it's going to be about as close as it gets to the end of the world.

    Edit.

Oh yeah, what happened to all that global warming they were on about the other week? Haven't heard a thing from them for ages. How are they getting on?
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

          Ice Age 4

About 9 inches here in Lancs, heaviest since I was a young lad ( quite a while ago ! ). One sign it is the heaviest snow for a good while is that tree bows are snapping off with the weight of snow. I just went to the shop to get some milk and it was like a scene from Ice Age 3. I tutted once or twice, but then quickly joined in the panic milk buying at Co-op as a delivery arrived !!!!!!!!!!!

It's not global warming any more, its climate change which is why we've now got the coldest, snowiest winter for 20 years.
And yes, it's still our fault. Keep the heating OFF or it'll get worse. Hopefully the councils will be doing something to offset the carbon footprint of all those gritting trucks

It's now about a millimetre deep in Banbury.

Didn't the Met Office say back in December that 2009 was going to be the warmest on record, unless there was a prolonged cold spell at the end of the year?
Will work inside IR35. Or for food.

Don't worry, that'll be fixed in time for the next climate change conference.

The meteorologists at the met office said there was a 75% chance of a fine , normal summer, a 25% chance of an early summer followed by a very wet spell. Also a fair chance of a freezing winter

-then their press office got hold of it. fckng spin doctors.
