    Life on the bench eh?

I chose to not renew my last gig back in April as I'd been there on and off for two years and frankly was bored with it all.

The slightly annoying thing is that the only place around here that is constantly looking for contractors (and at a decent rate too) is the my last client...

I will NOT go back there
I will NOT go back there
I will NOT go back there
I will NOT go back there
    .
    .
    .
    etc...

Still cracking summer so far (loving the grey overcast and the rain )

Played about with the cars a bit, set up NAS on my LAN... played with linux some.. even dug the old CB out of the loft (last time it was switched on was the best part of 25 years ago).

Went for a perma-temp interview last week just for the practice and to remind myself why I'm a contractor...

    Do what thou wilt

I just might. There'll be a whole episode on running my finger over the skirting board for dust.

To be honest, I'm loving the time off...gardening, spending time with the wife and kids, generally chilling.
        You must get odd looks.

I am sure you will all be pleased to know I have just got dressed.

I have left messages with 3 agents this morning to call me, none have. Of course.

Now I am dressed I can ring with authority, dammit!

CB appears to be the preferred abbreviation for Cyberman. I was suggesting that because you keep CB, CB is your sockpuppet, that is, you are Cyberman. I did, however, understand you meant CB radio, but chose to be dense. Doing so comes easily.

Having ascertained you keep an image of someone (Cyberman) in your loft, I then applied the literary allusion to Oscar Wilde's "The Picture of Dorian Gray", a story which, contrary to popular opinion, I found to be tulipe.

I trust my explanation was of little, if any, value?
